05.31.26 – Judge had sex in chambers

Good day, everybody. Dr. Nick here with a new blog for you on May 31st, 2026. And today, I want to talk to you about a little breaking news, and it involves a judge having sex in her chambers. Personally, I do not have a problem with it at all, except that she denied it and later admitted to it. Also, the news media says it was “extramarital,” but I wonder if they have an “understanding” in her marriage. Let’s talk about it.

According to The Associated Press, a federal judge had an extramarital affair with a high-ranking police officer. This included having sex in the judge’s chambers, which was apparently overheard by staff. A review of logs and security footage showed an officer had frequently visited the judge’s chambers in uniform around noon. Some of the clerks who work with the judge recalled seeing someone who fit the officer’s description, with three of the clerks remembering overhearing what may have been sexual activity in the judge’s office. In the end, the judge admitted to having an extramarital sexual relationship with the officer.

Please keep in mind that being a judge is a very stressful job, and if I had to guess, she probably needed a little relief at work. Fine, she did it, and she was appropriately punished. Don’t forget she is a judge, so she has her job for life. Only Congress can remove her from the bench. What we do not know is if she and her husband have an understanding where extramarital sexual activity was okay. Does anyone remember the Falwell’s from the summer of 2020?

Jerry Falwell, Jr., was the head of Liberty University, and he was married to Becki Falwell. According to a Reuters article from August 2020, she engaged in an extramarital relationship with the pool boy while her husband looked on. See, in this marriage, there was an understanding.

So, as I close out this blog, let me say this. I do not know what her situation at home was, but I do know that being a judge is extremely stressful. Sometimes you need some relief right then and there. Could they have gone out to the car or a stairwell and had a good time? Probably, my only issue is if the clerks had never heard the noises, would we even be talking about this right now? Probably not. Please feel free to write your comments and thoughts below. Thank you for reading, Dr. Nick.
